Cetenov is characterized by a high proportion of forest areas, meadows, and pastures. At the same time, the village lies within the catchment area of the picturesque Zábrdka stream; this landscape character is also connected with the smaller and scattered settlement structure. Visitors to Cetenov can stay in privately owned holiday properties.

Landscape

The combination of forest areas, meadows, and pastures defines the character of Cetenov, as does the village’s smaller and scattered settlement structure.

Cycling

Cycle Route 3048 runs through Cetenov. Cycle Route 25 follows the entire course of the Zábrdka stream through Dolánky.

Culture and History

Historically, Cetenov, Vystrkov, and Hrubý Lesnov were located along an important road from Prague to Zittau. In Cetenov, there is a column with a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. The Chapel of St. Linhart (Kaple sv. Linharta) in Cetenov was built in 1830 and is a small Neoclassical chapel in the center of Cetenov.

The cross in Dolánky dates from 1843 and is an important example of the folk Neoclassical sculpture characteristic of the region. Hrubý Lesnov is a typical old Bohemian round village with a central village green. There are a number of log houses there, standing relatively close together from the village green toward Dehtáry.
