Hrad Libá houses the “Passage of Time” exhibition, which explores the past, present and future of the castle and palace. A large part of the visitor route serves as a gallery. During the tour, visitors can also climb the tower; it serves as a lookout tower and offers views of the surrounding area.

Libá is situated in the valley of the Libský potok. The Rathsam Nature Reserve protects natural sections of the border rivers Ohře and Reslava, as well as the accompanying wetland, meadow and forest communities with numerous rare and endangered plant and animal species. Rathsam is one of the specially protected natural and landscape areas associated with the municipal territory of Libá. The Smrčiny Nature Park is also associated with the municipal territory and belongs to the areas of general nature and landscape protection.

Churches and Historical Traces

St. Catherine’s Church underwent a thorough Baroque reconstruction from 1753 to 1763. After its reconsecration on 9 October 1763, it was dedicated exclusively to Saint Catherine. The filial Church of St. Catherine stands on a rocky spur within the municipal territory of Libá, near the former castle.
