In Čichalov, you can fish in the pond below the cemetery with a valid permit from the pond operator. There are also two modern children’s playgrounds.

Culture

The cemetery with the Church of All Saints is located approximately 1 km northeast of Čichalov on elevated ground. The Church of All Saints in Čichalov was built in the Gothic style in the first half of the 14th century and is a valuable example of sacred architecture from the time of Charles IV in the area around Žlutice.

Čichalov is also home to a Baroque village chapel dedicated to Saints John and Paul. It was built in the 17th century and was originally dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The exterior areas of the Chapel of Saints John and Paul are accessible.

Historical Traces

The Čichalovský mlýn water mill was built at an unknown time in the deep valley of the Malá Trasovka stream, approximately 1.1 km west of Čichalov, on the left bank of the stream. The mill is first recorded on the map from the First Josephine Military Survey, conducted between 1764 and 1768. The ruins of the Čichalovský mlýn are freely accessible.

On the access road to Čichalovský mlýn No. 29, master miller Wenzl Pleyer had a stone chapel of the Virgin Mary built in the second half of the 19th century in the deep valley of the Malá Trasovka stream, approximately 1.1 km west of Čichalov. Of the former Chapel of the Virgin Mary, only the enclosing walls up to their original height have survived, without a roof or roof structure. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary is currently in a dilapidated condition.
