Historical traces in Mírová include the former fortification. It had a drawbridge, walls and a moat, and fell into disrepair at the end of the 18th century.
History and Culture
Another historical facet is the chapel in Mírová. It was built in the second half of the 19th century during the emergence of romanticising Neo-Gothic architecture. In 1996, it was entered in the central list of cultural monuments of the Czech Republic as an immovable cultural monument. The chapel is used as a pilgrimage site and for cultural and social purposes.
Landscape
The houses and settlement areas of Mírová lie on both sides of the Chodovský potok. The Buková mountain, Chrudim mountain, Lobezský vrch mountain and Bukový vrch mountain are located in the surrounding area. The Schlackenwerth Monastery is also located near Mírová.
Nature and Activities
Cycle Route No. 2227 includes and runs through the Mírová–Na Cechu section; for the most part, it runs away from motorised traffic. The Chodovský Potok 1 fishing district extends from the confluence with the Vlčí or Jimlíkovský potok near Mírová to the springs. The official fishing district also includes the 0.3-hectare PR 04 Mírová retention basin.
