Nature and Landscape

The cadastral area of Třebihošť includes Zvičina Mountain (671 m), a popular tourist destination. From the summit of Zvičina, there are views north over the eastern part of the Krkonoše Mountains and south over the Hořicko and Jičínsko regions.

The area of Třebihošť is connected to Dvůr Králové nad Labem by road II/300. It is connected exclusively by bus to Dvůr Králové nad Labem, Miletín and Horní Brusnice.

Winter and Trails

Skiing in the Zvičina area developed from the beginning of the 20th century. Raisova chata offers restaurant services for skiing and cross-country skiing tourism, but currently has no accommodation facilities.

The Club of Czech Tourists opened a hiking trail from Hořice to Zvičina in 1920.

The history of the mountain chalet also includes its former name: the chalet on Zvičina was renamed Raisova chata in 1927.

Culture and History

The Zvičina Church is an Early Baroque church dating from 1706, dedicated to Saint John of Nepomuk. It has a sandstone altar dating from around 1740.

The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Třebihošť dates from 1822. The chapel in Třebihošť was expanded in 1900 and 1901 with a nave and a vestibule.

The so-called Imperial Road, associated with the Perenská cesta, was probably built during the Seven Years' War with Prussia between 1756 and 1763.
