Kacákova Lhota can be discovered through tangible traces of history, water and living traditions. Preserved buildings, bodies of water and local events come together to create a multifaceted picture of the village.
Culture and history
By the local open-air swimming pool stands a barn that was built in 1881 as part of a farm complex in Ostružno that no longer exists today. In 1996, it was moved from Ostružno to Kacákova Lhota and rebuilt by the local open-air swimming pool; it has been protected since 30 June 1993.
The year 1546 is cited as the earliest documented mention of the founding of Kacákova Lhota. The cellars of Náchodský dvůr in Kacákova Lhota are considered the oldest documented surviving building; their construction is dated to the first half of the 17th century.
The villagescape also includes several memorial crosses and wayside shrines. The crucifix with an enclosure in Kacákova Lhota is an immovable cultural monument listed in the Central Register of Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic.
Water and landscape
Where the Trnávka stream flows into the Úlibický potok, the Úlibický potok figuratively divides the municipality into Kacákova Lhota and Náchodsko. In Kacákova Lhota, a preserved mill stands on the Mlýnský potok, which is fed by the Úlibický potok as a millrace.
A natural swimming pool is available for recreational use in Kacákova Lhota.

During the traditional Masopust carnival in Kacákova Lhota, a procession with numerous original masks and live music passes through the entire municipality. At the end of the Masopust procession, a traditional pig-slaughter feast was held at the local inn.
At the Morana event on 22 March 2026, winter was bid farewell and spring was welcomed.
