At 505 meters, Jahodová hora is the highest point in Javornice and is located above the Betlém district. It can be reached via a preserved section of the old imperial road; Jahodová hora offers views of the Orlické Mountains. Since the 1980s, tourists and people of goodwill have gathered there on New Year's Day at around 2 p.m. to join hands and wish one another happiness and good health for the new year.
Culture
The Church of St. George is a single-nave building with a rectangular floor plan and a projecting square tower on the west façade. An extension containing a sculptural group depicting Christ on the Mount of Olives is attached to the Church of St. George. The Church of St. George complex in Javornice is an immovable cultural monument.
The Memorial to Marie and Vojtěch Sedláček contains a permanent exhibition of paintings by Vojtěch Sedláček, as well as an exhibition section dedicated to Marie Sedláčková-Serbousková's lace art. A guided tour of the memorial also includes the painter's studio and the home shared by both artists. The memorial room dedicated to Josef Korejz Blatinský displays works depicting villagers in traditional costumes from various parts of Bohemia, Moravia, and Slovakia, as well as landscapes, houses, and customs.
Sports
The sports and recreational complex in Javornice includes a children's playground for children aged three to fourteen. It also has a 110-meter-long straight athletics track with four lanes and a tartan surface, a long-jump facility, and a shot-put sector.
