Židovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Židovice is situated in the agriculturally shaped landscape of the Novobydžovsko region. A large part of the area is intensively used as arable land, with the rest consisting of meadows. The appearance of the village is characterised by rural architecture and public green spaces.

Culture and Village Character

Among the notable cultural monuments is the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk. It is registered as an immovable cultural monument in the Central List of Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic under registration number 35241/6-1456. Židovice is also home to the birthplace of Bohumír Bradáč, the former Czechoslovak Minister of Agriculture and later Minister of National Defence. Another testament to the village’s history is an example of old agricultural technology. The Sokolovna in Židovice was built in 1929.

Landscape

The local biocentre LBC 8 is located in the southern part of the Židovice cadastral area. Meadows along a watercourse can be found in its surroundings. The local biocorridor LBK 6–7 runs along the eastern edge of the built-up area of Židovice and along a road.

The nearby area includes the Na Průhoně hill [Chroustov] and the Zlámaná hill [Kněžice - Dubečno]. The U Borku mountain [Záhornice u Městce Králové] and Kamenec mountain are also located in the vicinity of Židovice.

Paths and Location

Marked routes for hiking and cycling are designated within the municipality of Židovice. The village is located on the third-class III/28033 road, which provides road connections to the surrounding settlement centres.
