Nature and trails
A local educational trail was created in Třebestovice to mark the 1,020th anniversary of the municipality’s founding. From the Poříčany–Nymburk railway line, on which Třebestovice is located, a hiking trail leads to Kersko. The newly marked Bohumil Hrabal educational trail ends at Panenská cesta near Třebestovice, is 13 kilometres long and includes 13 plus 1 stations with information boards. The Třebestovice–Sadská cycle path is integrated into the network of regional cycle paths in the Central Bohemian Region.
Experiences
The Kančí Trail is an easy nature trail approximately 0.5 kilometres long between the Kerská–Žižkova and Kerská–Lesní crossroads in Třebestovice. It features seven interactive elements and is intended for children, families and schools.
Culture and history
Třebestovice was first mentioned in 993. The cross standing opposite the belfry was erected at the end of the 19th century from voluntary donations. A covered monument to the Virgin Mary stands in a forest near the forester’s lodge. The monument to those who fell in the First World War in front of the inn was unveiled on 28 October 1929.
