Soběhrdy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

FARMAPARK Soběhrdy is home to farm animals from all over the world. The grounds offer more than 5 km of paths for pedestrians and prams; visitors can feed some of the animals themselves and take part in commented feeding sessions with animal keepers.

Soběhrdy lies in the Benešovská pahorkatina uplands at an altitude of 409 m. The landscape around Soběhrdy includes wooded hills such as Čerčanský chlum and Krásná Hora; Krásná Hora was formerly also known as Kačí vrch.

Culture and History

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Soběhrdy was built in the pseudo-Romanesque style and consecrated in 1907. Masses are held in the church on the first and third Saturdays of each month, and occasionally also on the fifth Saturday.

The Protestant history of Soběhrdy includes the fact that, after the Battle of White Mountain, Protestants secretly gathered in ravines beneath Kačí vrch. As part of the traditional Noc kostelů event, the Protestant church in Soběhrdy is opened to the public. As part of this Noc kostelů event, the opportunity to climb the church tower was also announced.

Events

The international festival of vocal music Hlasy tří světů takes place annually in May and June. On 7 June 2026, a performance by the Victoria Ensemble was announced in Soběhrdy as part of Hlasy tří světů.
