Dobříč: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Tachlovice-Chýnice profile features natural rock outcrops and small former quarries. The geological site has been recommended for protection; it includes paleontological sites and stratigraphic profiles from the Silurian to the Middle Devonian. It also encompasses the cadastral area of Dobříč u Prahy and lies on the left-hand slopes of the Radotínský potok valley between Prostřední mlýn and Dolní mlýn.

Nature

The revitalisation of the Radotínský potok was intended to increase the biodiversity of the area and create favourable conditions for the development of wetland communities in shallow littoral zones. As part of the project, ponds were to be added in the affected area and extensive vegetation work was to be carried out to strengthen the landscape’s retention capacity. The aim of the measures on the Radotínský potok was to restore the watercourse to a natural, widened and structured character. The revitalisation of a total 2,013-metre section of the Radotínský potok and its tributary flowing into Štičkovy tůně extends across the cadastral areas of Tachlovice and Dobříč in the Praha-západ District.

Culture

Dobříč Castle was converted into a granary in the 19th century. The historic Dobříč farmstead is located in the southern part of the municipality, directly on road III/00511. The memorial to those who fell in the First World War in Dobříč also commemorates the history of the village: it was ceremonially unveiled on 14 July 1929 and reconstructed in 1993. The event „Tradiční Dobříčské kuželky“ was scheduled to take place in Dobříč on 23 July 2022.

Transport and trails

Bus route 309 connects Dobříč with Zličín and Radotín; bus route 310 operates between Zličín and Rudná. No marked hiking trail passes through Dobříč or its surrounding area. The nearest marked hiking trail begins south of Chýnice.
