In the immediate vicinity of Chaloupky, a marked hiking trail leads from Malá Víska to a viewpoint at Jindřichova skála, from which the Valdek castle ruins can be seen. The Stezka okolo Komárova is mentioned as an excursion route in connection with Chaloupky.
Cross-country skiing and other winter sports are practised in the surroundings of Chaloupky as winter activities. Chaloupecká stopa is a local tourism event held annually.
Places to Visit
The Valdek castle ruins and the mighty sea of rocks below them offer a beautiful view into the deep valley of the Červený potok and the opposite rock faces of Jindřichova skála. A car park is available in Neřežín for visits to the Valdek castle ruins.
History
The first written mention of Chaloupky dates from 1648. The tax register compiled between 1648 and 1656 records the settlement’s name at the time, “Chalupy za Skalou”, as well as the names of its first residents.

The Neřežín district is home to four particularly valuable log houses.
