Brčići: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
A designated cycling route leads through Brčići along a gravel section in the direction of Rajki. It connects the municipalities of Tinjan and Karojba. Those who choose Brčići as their holiday destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment.
Routes
The circular hiking trail Trail Montreo (718) reaches Brčići via a gravel section and then turns towards Rajki. Along its further course, it passes the Pajićka pond before continuing to Jurići. In the immediate vicinity, after passing through Rajki, the cycling route continues past the Pajićka pond in the direction of Jurići; Pajićka is listed among the attractions along the route.
The Od lokve do lokve cycling route (615) offers an opportunity to experience historic rural life while visiting ponds and springs. One of the named ponds along this route is Brčićeva. A rest area for cyclists is provided at each restored pond.
Culture
Brčići is recorded as a traditional rural settlement whose layout and building structure have largely been preserved. The chapel shrine of Brčići is also listed among the local cultural assets.
The Pajićka spring is surrounded by a circular stone wall. This wall was built over five years and completed in 1922. The Lokva Pajićka is enclosed by a circular stone wall and has an iron gate and stone steps leading down to the water. The pond is considered one of the best-known and most attractive ponds in the Tinjan area.
Surroundings
The International Prosciutto Fair in Tinjan combines European prosciutto with guided tastings, workshops, a sports programme and evening concerts. An unclassified road also runs through Brčići to the hamlets of Travani, Jurići and Pajići.
