Culture
The Vlaški puti Ecomuseum in Šušnjevica comprises an interpretation centre and a media library housed in the former local school building. The centre is located on the ground floor and is designed to present the social history and traditional culture of Šušnjevica, the nearby settlements and its surroundings; particular emphasis is placed on the Vlach (Istroromanian) language and culture.
The media library provides access to materials in the Vlach and Žejane languages, digitised publications about the language community, and publications on local topics. The ecomuseum’s mission also includes passing on knowledge about the Vlach (Istroromanian) language and culture.

Trails
Official cycle route 463, “Around Čepić Field”, passes through Šušnjevica. It is 37.5 kilometres long and classified as an official route of medium difficulty.
The themed trails “Putevima kontrabanda” start at the Vlaški puti Ecomuseum in Šušnjevica, explore part of the local past and lead through Učka Nature Park. The ecomuseum’s themed walking trails through Učka Nature Park are directly connected with the life and activities of the local community.
Kontraband 1 (KB 1) runs for 5.97 kilometres from Šušnjevica to Podmaj and is classified as a challenging trail. It starts at the Vlaški puti Ecomuseum in Šušnjevica and leads through forest, meadows and low vegetation to a viewpoint overlooking Istria.
Churches and History
The cemetery church of St. Sylvester in Šušnjevica preserves fragments of frescoes and Glagolitic graffiti dating from the 16th to the 18th century. The parish church of St. John the Baptist was built in 1838 on the site of an earlier church.
Šušnjevica is considered the largest Istroromanian settlement in the Labin deanery.
