The Church of the Holy Trinity is located in Purgarija Čepić at the address Purgarija Čepić 29. In the nearby area, the parish church of the Holy Trinity was built in 1872. The Čepić parish is first mentioned in surviving historical sources in 1606.
Cycling and landscape
The official cycling route 463 Oko Čepićkog polja runs through the nearby area along the Kršan–Vlašići–Čepić–Brdo–Šušnjevica–Kožljak–Kršan route. It is 37.5 kilometres long and moderately difficult; 32.5 kilometres run on asphalt and 5 kilometres on gravel. The route passes through rural settlements below the Učka Massif, characterised by livestock farming and agriculture.

History and landscape
The wider area around Kršan is connected with the former Lake Čepić, the western Učka Massif, Kožljak Castle and sacred heritage. Lake Čepić was drained in 1932, creating approximately 1,500 hectares of new agricultural land. In 1689, Čepić was recorded in connection with the “black Čepić wine”.
The monastery in Kloštar is considered the first monastery in Istria and operated until 1782. Most of the monastery building has been preserved and is inhabited, and it is arranged around a courtyard with a central cistern.
