Muntanya de la Sella – Molinets, Garden and Trails
Accommodation in Muntanya de la Sella
Els Molinets give Muntanya de la Sella a distinctive cultural and historical character: the two circular, slightly truncated-conical stone structures have walls more than 1.5 metres thick and were both built in 1850. Today, they can be visited from the inside; the key is available from the local police or the cultural centre, and an identity document must be left as a deposit. The interior fixtures of the Molinets that had been lost were restored in 2016 to ensure their preservation.

Culture and history
As windmills, Els Molinets are located in the valley between La Sella and the mountain of Pedreguer; their power was formerly used to grind grain and produce flour. The preserved structure, former use and restored interior fixtures give the site a tangible historical connection.
Trails
The Els Molinets i el Miquelet de la Sella route is 6 kilometres long, takes about two hours and has a low difficulty level. It climbs up to the Miquelet de la Sella and then descends along the slope facing the sea to the La Sella development.
The Ruta dels Riuraus is a 14.3-kilometre cycling route that passes through the municipal area and over Muntanya de La Sella mountain. It leads to several riuraus located in the municipality of Pedreguer and draws attention to the houses with arcades that are characteristic of Pedreguer. Six kilometres on foot and 14.3 kilometres by bike represent two clearly different route formats for personal day planning.
Nature
The Jardí Mediterrani de l'Albarda was founded in 1990 on the initiative of the Fundació Enrique Montoliu (FUNDEM) and is managed according to strict sustainability criteria. The Jardí de l'Albarda covers approximately 50,000 square metres and is home to more than 700 native plant species, as well as extensive rose and palm collections. The Jardín de l'Albarda is open to the public every day; guided visits for groups of ten or more must be booked in advance.
Sport
La Sella Tennis & Padel has seven professional tennis courts, five of them clay courts and two with artificial turf. There are also three outdoor padel courts, including a panoramic court; lessons and tournaments are offered.
Visits
At the Paramita Centre, the Centro Budista Sakya, the iconography of the Buddha temple is explained during a visit. Visitors can explore the facilities and meditate on site. The Centro Paramita offers guided visits on certain dates; visits are not possible outside these times.
When choosing a holiday apartment in Muntanya de la Sella, different priorities can be given different weight: trails and the cycling route sit alongside the garden, tennis, padel and the Paramita Centre. This keeps accommodation planning focused on the desired themes of the stay without combining the various offerings into a single excursion programme.
