Benitachell reveals its coastal side at Cala del Moraig. The cove cannot be accessed by vehicle; above the descent there is a car park near the beginning of the road to the cove, from where visitors continue on foot to the beach.

Next to Cala del Moraig lies Cova dels Arcs, a sea cave with large natural arches formed over time by the action of water on the rock. The cave can be reached from the beach; it is believed to have formed over a period of 60,000 years.
Coast and Nature
Cala Llebeig is a secluded small cove between the municipalities of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell and Teulada-Moraira. It can only be reached on foot or by sea and preserves old fishermen's huts as well as traces of former coastal surveillance.
Ruta dels Penya-segats 1 runs along the cliffs. Mediterranean vegetation accompanies the path, which also includes a visit to old caves used by fishermen.
Paths and Geology
Ruta Falla del Moraig is a short, linear route of low difficulty covering 275 metres, for which approximately 30 minutes are indicated. It leads to a viewpoint overlooking the whole of Cala del Moraig to the north; Cap de la Nau lies in the background.
In its final section, the route reaches an area of geological interest with the Moraig Fault, the Vasenilla, as well as formations and drainage channels shaped by water and tectonic movements. On Ruta dels Testos, the final three sections of the descent require the use of ropes.
Culture and History
Ruta Camí de la Serp – Puig de la Llorença – Cala Llebeig includes old mule tracks, agricultural terraces with dry-stone walls, lime kilns and the remains of a medieval quarry.
Museu al Vent offers self-guided routes that explore Benitachell's heritage through stations in the town centre, the rural landscape and along the coast, from its own cultural perspective.
At Pous de l'Abiar there is a recreational area and a system of natural wells. These supplied the population with water until the 1970s, particularly during the war and the post-war period.

Cuisine and the Annual Cycle
Benitachell's traditional cuisine is shaped by fishing and agriculture. It includes salted dishes, sweet treats with Arab influences, handcrafted wine, Vino Moraig, broad beans in spring and Muscat grapes in summer.
