A distinctive feature of Algorfa is the approximately 17-kilometre-long “La Caldera del Gigante” route, which begins in the Montemar urbanisation in Algorfa. It leads into the protected Hoyo Serrano natural area, a space of high ecological value with Mediterranean woodland formations and a striking gorge. The Barranco de Calderón stretches along the route for 3,270 metres. “La Caldera del Gigante” is a fluvial erosion formation between several pools carved by water into the rocky riverbed. Over a distance of 8,000 metres, the route runs towards Benejúzar parallel to the Sotos del Río Segura.

The parish church Iglesia Parroquial de la Virgen del Carmen was founded in 1755 under the Marquisate of Algorfa and is located on Plaza de España.
