The municipal Majal Blanco forest park is located near the Torre Guil residential development. It covers 875 hectares and was declared a wildlife protection area in 1988.
Nature
Majal Blanco comprises Mediterranean woodland with holm oaks, Aleppo pines and pine trees. At Plaza de las Moreras, next to the entrance to the forest park, there is an information point for visitors. The historic Torre Guil estate is characterised by a distinctive manor house surrounded by vegetation. The main building of the Casa-Torre Guil dates from the 18th century and reflects the region's traditional vernacular agricultural Baroque style. Torre Guil olive oil received a gold medal at the World's Fair held in Barcelona in 1888.
