Falces belongs to the Red de Parajes Starlight de la Ribera de Navarra, a network of places certified by the Fundación Starlight for exceptionally high sky quality and low light pollution, making them suitable for observing the night sky. The Basílica del Salvador del Mundo stands on a rocky hill, dates back to the Middle Ages and houses a Mannerist altarpiece from the first half of the 17th century.

Culture

The Casa Museo houses Navarre’s first permanent puppet exhibition, featuring 15 particularly noteworthy works by Marionetas Pis-Pis. It also reconstructs rooms from a wealthy home, displays objects from other buildings, preserves an early-20th-century carpentry workshop and documents Falces’ vanished historic buildings.

In addition to serving as a sanctuary, the Basílica del Salvador is also a viewpoint over Falces and the comarca. The Villa Romana San Esteban dates mostly from the 4th century and was used for producing and storing wine; a pressing platform, a fermentation vat, a fumarium and storage rooms have been preserved. It can be reached on foot or by car, has a car park and can be visited on a guided tour by prior reservation.

The Castillo de los Moros consists of the ruins of the Falahsan fortress between the Pilón and Busierra gorges. It guarded the border settlement of Falces.

Nature

The Ruta del Arquillo is a signposted circular route for hiking or mountain biking along agricultural tracks and paths, passing through the Reserva Natural de los Sotos del Arquillo y Barbaraces.

At the Humedal de Soto Abajo, there are adapted visitor car parks, a picnic area and an information point; two paths lead through the wetland from there. The short route is 500 metres long and has been adapted for people with reduced mobility and people with visual impairments.

The Ruta de las Cigüeñas is a 6.26-kilometre route for hiking or cycling with an elevation gain of 192 metres. It passes the Villa Romana de San Esteban, a viewpoint and the route of the Encierro del Pilón.

The Ruta Pilón Trail familiar includes an easy, family-friendly section with a climb to the Salvador shelter, followed by a path with slides and zigzag sections. The Ruta Ciclable del Visón connects Falces, Peralta, Funes and Marcilla through the river area known as "Territorio Visón".
