Culture

The Castro de San Felices preserves remains of a fortification wall. The wall has an entrance on its southeastern side and was built from two outer layers of dry-stacked stone; the space between them was filled with smaller materials.

The Church of San Felices dates from the late 13th century. It consists of two broad, low naves with their corresponding vaults and contains two Plateresque altarpieces dedicated to San Antonio and San José. The most important festivals in San Felices take place in mid-September in honour of Santo Cristo del Consuelo. The townscape includes rural architecture made from flat stone slabs.

Cuisine
