Culture

In Cordovilla, La Santidad is recorded as a settlement site from the late Roman and Visigothic periods. The Iglesia Santiago Apóstol is also located in the town. Portalillos are common on the houses of Cordovilla; they served to protect the water. These traditional portalillos occur in two forms: straight and curved.

The water from the springs of Quinta Florentina was formerly collected and taken to Peñarandilla for sale.
