The Ermita del Bendito Cristo in Zacos is predominantly designed in the Renaissance style and houses a painting of the Last Supper by Luis Machado, a painter from the village.

Culture and History

The church of Zacos was built before the 17th century. A stone cross stands in front of the church of Zacos. A monolith standing in front of the church commemorates the poet Eugenio de Nora and was erected in 1997.

A document dated 3 March 1641 records the construction of the Ermita de la Vera Cruz in Zacos. Several traditional buildings of Cepeda have been preserved in Zacos.
