Discover Villalmóndar – Church, Oca Valley and Holiday Apartment

Villalmóndar is one of the small settlements in the Oca Valley that has preserved part of its traditional architecture. Villalmóndar is home to the parish church Iglesia de la Degollación de San Juan. It is dedicated to the Degollación de San Juan and crowned by a semicircular dome. A small park with benches is located next to the church.

A document dated July 28, 1152, mentions Villalmóndar together with the San Pelayo Monastery.
