Culture and History

The Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción is an example of Late Gothic sacred architecture, with towers on the west façade and a Baroque spire. Inside, it has three naves and vaults with tiercerons from the 16th century, as well as decorated keystones. The depictions include an Assumption of the Virgin surrounded by twelve angels, with remnants of the original polychromy still preserved.
