Blacha – Holiday Apartment, San Juan and Landscape

Blacha brings together seasonal customs, named cultural sites and varied landscape features. The patron saint’s festival is associated with 24 June and San Juan Bautista. The San Juan custom includes erecting a poplar trunk, known as the „mayo“, in the main square. As part of the Mayo custom, young men place branches from the trunk on the windows of the girls they wish to court. The Vaquilla de Blacha is a carnival tradition.
