The route runs entirely through the municipality of Amoeiro and ends at the same place where it starts. For hikes, route length and route layout are two different planning considerations. Culture and History

The Capela de Santa Baia contains a Late Romanesque votive altar dedicated to the Lares Viales, which has been used as a baptismal font since time immemorial. Thus, at different historical sites, both prehistoric rock markings and a later religious testimony take centre stage.

The Igrexa de San Martiño is a Romanesque church from the 12th century, marking the transition to the Gothic style. It was extensively altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. The small church stands on rocks at a former Castro settlement site. In Trasalba, the Casa Museo Otero Pedrayo is housed in the former family pazo of Trasalba. The Capela de San Xiao features elements of pre-Romanesque and/or Late Romanesque origin, while the Igrexa de San Pedro de Trasalba has preserved its original wooden ceiling inside.
