Culture and history

Near the N-VI, in the parish of San Xoán do Corgo, stands the Pazo do Corgo, also known as Pazo de Valcarce or Casa Grande. The surviving building of Pazo de Valcarce, also known as Pazo do Corgo, is Baroque; its origins are linked to the López do Corgo family from the 16th century.

Santiago de Fonteita is a Romanesque parish church dating from the 13th century.
