Waterways and rivers
The PR-G 99 Ruta da Auga de Guitiriz connects the three thermal water springs of Valdobín, San Xoán de Lagostelle and Santo Domingo in Guitiriz. There are no significant climbs along this route. It runs along the banks of the Parga and Ladroil rivers. The Ruta do Río Requeixo begins at the Ponte de Roca and follows the anglers’ paths along the Requeixo River. From there, it continues to the Ponte do Porto dos Bois.

Speciality and festival
The Torta de maíz de Guitiriz is an artisanally made cake. Its ingredients include eggs, sugar, butter and cornmeal. The Fiesta de la Torta de Maíz takes place on the first Sunday in June.
Romanesque architecture and religious buildings
The Iglesia Parroquial de Santa Cruz is located in the parish of Santa Cruz de Parga in Guitiriz. It is a Romanesque church dating from the 12th century. The Igrexa Parroquial de Santa María stands in the parish of Labrada in Guitiriz. The Romanesque religious building was rebuilt between the 17th and 18th centuries.
The Calvario is located in the parish of Santa Cruz de Parga in Guitiriz. It is a group of crosses depicting the Passion of Christ. A guided tour is offered at the Igrexa de Santa María de Labrada. The tour provides historical interpretation of its frescoes.

A Roman road ran through the area of Guitiriz. It connected Lucus Augusti with Brigantia. The Ruta de la Piedra de Díaz Castro leads to the house of former stonemasons. Its paths run between stone walls through fields and natural woodland.
