Queo De Abaixo: Cultural Heritage and Paths along the Anllóns

Paths along the Anllóns

One section of the Ruta dos Muíños do Pan can be walked from A Cheda to Ponte de Bértoa. From Ponte de Bértoa, the Ruta dos Muíños do Pan runs through Bosque do Añón and the San Martiño and Anllóns urban parks, then continues to the walking path leading to Muíño do Quinto. Muíño do Quinto is the only mill in the municipality that is still in operation. The restored banks of the Anllóns River now form an approximately seven-kilometre round trip from Muíño do Quinto to the neighbouring parish of Bértoa, used for leisure walks. Along the Anllóns riverside promenade, it is possible to walk from Bértoa to Carballo.

The route therefore includes different sections: the starting section between A Cheda and Ponte de Bértoa is explicitly walkable, while the onward route leads through Bosque do Añón, San Martiño and Anllóns Park to Muíño do Quinto. The path along the restored banks is approximately seven kilometres long and runs as a round trip from Muíño do Quinto to the neighbouring parish of Bértoa. In addition, the riverside promenade connects Bértoa with Carballo.
