Discover Culleredo: Ría del Burgo, Tidal Mills and Churches
By the Water
In Culleredo, the Paseo Marítimo de O Burgo runs along the shore of the ria and stretches for around five kilometres. The promenade can be used on foot or by bicycle; a cycle path runs along its entire length.
The walking route along the Ría del Burgo begins where the Río Mero flows into the ria beneath the medieval bridge of O Burgo. It follows the left bank through the municipality of Culleredo as far as the bridge of A Pasaxe. Near the medieval bridge, gulls, herons, ducks and even kingfishers can be observed at close range along this route.
