Vallbona de les Monges lies in a landscape of plains and hills. Dry-stone walls and dry-stone huts characterize the municipality. Cereal fields predominate; there are also vineyards, almond groves and olive groves. More than twenty vaulted huts are located within the municipality. They are known as cabanes de volta and stand among the agriculturally used areas.
