Nature

On the CU-2021 access road to Verdelpino de Huete, the Mirador del Valle del Río Mayor is located at a strategic point. The Mirador de Verdelpino de Huete offers views of the Río Mayor valley and its wide plains, which are now used to grow cereals and sunflowers. The Río Mayor valley is characterised by dry gypsum and marl soils dating from the sedimentary Miocene. Culture

Traditionally laid-out streets, together with a strong connection to water and horticulture, characterise Verdelpino de Huete. The washhouse of Verdelpino de Huete was built in 1936. It has four spouts that channel water into the basin from the mouths of lions and angels. The Fuente de Santa Ana is located in the upper part of Verdelpino de Huete next to the hermitage named after it. History

An archaeological site is located in Verdelpino de Huete. Based on the finds discovered there, it is attributed to the Magdalenian, or Upper Palaeolithic; it was excavated at the end of the 20th century.
