Discover Cambarco: Village Culture and Nature Trails

Cambarco lies at the beginning of the old Valdeaniezo valley, at the foot of Peña Sagra. In the lower part of the village, by the Aniezo River, is the Rock Art Chapel of Cambarco, the Ermita Rupestre de Cambarco, an artificially created cave. The Ermita Rupestre de Cambarco is a rare testament to religious practice from the late 8th or early 9th century. Visitors can view its interior through a grille installed to protect the structure.

Culture

Cambarco is considered one of the municipality's notable ensembles of traditional architecture.
