Barranco Hondo: Cultural Heritage, Pilgrimage Route and Hiking Trail

Barranco Hondo 1 is an archaeological site located in the ravine of the same name, near its mouth. Due to Law 16/85 of 25 June on Spanish historical heritage, the archaeological site with rock carvings is de facto considered an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) in El Rosario. Barranco Hondo also contains archaeological remains from the pre-Hispanic past of the region. For interested visitors, these references can be understood as two different historical points of connection.
