The Sendero Las Aguas hiking trail leads from Las Aguas to Barrio del Rosario. The Sendero Las Aguas runs along a dirt-and-stone path on the coastal platform and also serves as a viewpoint over the sea. Along its route, it passes tamarisks, reeds and agaves, as well as potato and banana fields.

In the surroundings of Las Aguas, the Barranco de Ruiz is designated as an area of scientific interest; remnants of laurel forest, thermophilous woodland and rock communities have been preserved there. In the surroundings of Las Aguas, on the coastal edge of the town centre of San Juan de la Rambla, lies the Charco de La Laja tidal pool, which consists of basaltic lava flows and pyroclasts. Culture

The fishermen of Las Aguas are part of the local fishing activity; the San Pedro festival celebrated today is regarded as an expression of maritime devotion and tradition. The La Cruz y San Pedro festival takes place in Las Aguas on the second weekend of July. A Eucharistic celebration was scheduled for 3 May at La Cruz y San Pedro in Las Aguas.

A procession with San Pedro leaves the square, passes through the neighbourhood and continues along Avenida de Las Aguas to the beach. A memorial garden in honour of the sea and the work of the fishermen was unveiled on Avenida de Las Aguas; it consisted of four large fish traps filled with metal fish and a large anchor commemorating the former landing stage of the former port of Las Aguas.
