Urturi lies in a gentle gorge at the foot of Izki Nature Park. Cerro La Torre and Alto de los Cerros are located next to the town. Urturi is home to the parish church of Santísima Trinidad. It dates from the late 16th century.

The Campo de Urturi is located within the Izki Golf complex. The course has 18 holes and a par of 72. Severiano Ballesteros designed both Campo de Urturi and Izki Golf. The Campo was the first fully public 18-hole golf course built in Spain. For mountain biking, Centro BTT Izki offers 15 routes with a total length of 506 kilometres. Getting There

The southern entrance to Izki Nature Park is via the A-2124 road, which connects Vitoria and Logroño. At Ventas de Armentia, turn onto the A-126 towards Bernedo to approach Urturi. Urturi’s festival in honour of the Virgen de la Magdalena is scheduled for 22 July.
