Playa Sant Elm is about 130 metres long and has two bathing areas: the larger one has white sand, while the smaller one is pebbly. Cala es Conills and Cala en Basset are also pebble beaches in Sant Elm where you can sunbathe and swim. At Cala Es Conills, you can observe Mediterranean underwater flora and fauna while snorkelling among the rocks and in the water. Water sports are another option in Sant Elm. Boats to Sa Dragonera Natural Park depart from Sant Elm every day. Check the current timetable before travelling. A circular kayak or paddleboard tour around Sa Dragonera starts at Sant Elm beach and covers around twelve kilometres. Local history, excursions and getting here
The former seamen’s hospital in Sant Elm is known as Torre de Sant Elm. La Trapa monastery was founded by a community of monks in 1810. For a short excursion from Sant Elm, Finca Pública La Trapa is one option; it is in the municipality of Andratx. For the Sant Elm–La Trapa circular walk, good footwear and enough water are recommended because of the elevation difference and duration.
Sant Elm is accessible by public transport and also has a paid car park. The town has a small commercial area with restaurants and bars.
