Villalba de Perejil between Sierras and History

Villalba de Perejil is grouped as a settlement on the mountainside between the Sierras de Atea and Vicor. Characteristic gypsum stone shapes the houses and the colours of the landscape. At a celebration of San Antón in the Iglesia de San Cristóbal, a Eucharistic celebration was followed by the traditional blessing of the animals.

On the corridor of Route 4 with Villalba de Perejil, the Sierra lies to the north and the steppe to the south. This contrast draws attention to the spatial differences around the village.
