Culture and History

The church floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross. The building also includes a very deep semicircular apse, a transept and a three-part nave. The Ermita de la Virgen del Pueyo houses a wooden sculpture of the Virgen del Pueyo, which is polychromed and gilded with fine gold.

The Ermita de la Virgen del Pueyo stands outside Siresa on a small hill. The image of the Virgin kept there dates from the 19th century. Nature and Trails

In the area around Siresa, the Espata forest track begins at the Selva de Oza campsite. Traffic is restricted on it; the track leads to the Corona de los Muertos megalithic complex. The archaeological site comprises more than 120 stone circles from various prehistoric periods.

Hiking trails lead from Siresa into the Valle de Hecho and onwards to peaks such as Bisaurín or to the Gabardito mountain refuge. The Ruta de Tacheras a Oza is a 9.8 km crossing with an estimated duration of 4 hours and 35 minutes. The Vía ferrata Articalena measures 3.7 km, with an estimated duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
