The PR-HU 9 hiking trail runs between Borrastre and Laguarta. From Fiscal, the PR-HU 9 reaches Borrastre after a walk of approximately one kilometre. From Fiscal, the trail continues through Borrastre, passing through the forest towards Laguarta and Collado de la Sierra de Galardón. The GR-9 leads from Laguarta to Borrastre. This provides different directions and trail routes for orientation: the PR-HU 9 connects several points along its route, while the GR-9 reaches Borrastre from the direction of Laguarta.

Hiking

A circular hike connects Fiscal, Borrastre and San Juste via several PR sections. It begins with its only paved section, where there is very little vehicle traffic. The descent to Borrastre follows a clearly recognisable trail marked in white and yellow. The circular hike offers views of wooded valleys. A linear connection, a loop trail and a marked descent can be classified as different types of trails. The information about the start, route and markings makes the differences between these trails specific: the paved section is at the beginning of the circular hike, the descent is colour-marked, and the connection runs via several PR sections. This allows the routes to be considered according to their respective structure without conflating their individual characteristics.

Nature and Culture

The peaks Peña Canciás, Punta Gradatiello, Punta Berroy and Punta Fobions are among the destinations in the vicinity of Borrastre. The Monasterio de San Juan de Matidero is also located near Borrastre. The four named peaks form a distinct group of natural destinations, while the monastery adds a cultural point of interest. If you would like to consider nature and culture separately, you can classify the four peaks and the monastery as independent travel interests. A hiking idea, a peak destination and a cultural destination can therefore be included independently in your personal planning.

The additional selection of nearby places also includes Lardiés. When choosing a holiday apartment, travel dates, room category and cancellation conditions may be different criteria. This information is separate from the trails and destinations described and provides an objective basis for comparing offers for your own travel period. For a trip to Borrastre, holiday apartments can be compared based on travel dates, room category and cancellation conditions. These three details describe the accommodation selection, while linear trails, the circular hike, peaks and the monastery represent different thematic focuses of the travel planning. The characteristics mentioned provide a clear, objective structure for your own selection without combining the destinations described into a single route.
