The Puerto Saucillo–Puerto Bellina circular hiking trail begins and ends at Puerto Saucillo and is accessible from Yunquera. The Puerto Saucillo–Torrecilla hiking trail offers a different route type: the linear route is 9.4 kilometres long, has a high difficulty level and an estimated walking time of around four hours; access is from Yunquera.

The Puerto Saucillo–Torrecilla hiking trail passes through karst limestone terrain with Spanish fir and mountain cork oak forests, high-mountain meadows and exceptional viewpoints. Culture and history

The Romería de Porticate is an annual pilgrimage held on 15 August in honour of the Virgen de Porticate. The Ermita de Porticate is located about five kilometres from the town centre, dates from the 18th century, was remodelled in 1929 and is a pilgrimage site for the residents of Yunquera.

The Torre Vigía is currently open to visitors and hosts, among other events, full-moon nights, astronomy courses and meteor-shower nights. Holy Week in Yunquera begins on Palm Sunday with a dramatized re-enactment of the Entry into Jerusalem by local children.

The Casa-Museo Francisco Sola is a manor house belonging to the Sola Portocarrero family with an extensive cultural heritage, and today it also houses Yunquera’s visitor information centre.
