Nature

The section of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Nature Park within the municipality of Quesada includes, among other things, Corsican pines, Aleppo pines, yew trees and numerous endemic plant species. Cueva del Agua is a natural limestone cave where the water of the Río Tíscar meets the rocks of Monte de Caballo. Culture and History

At CIPAQ, the Centro de Interpretación del Patrimonio Arqueológico de Quesada, Quesada’s prehistoric and Roman heritage is presented, including Levantine and schematic rock art recognised by UNESCO as World Heritage in 1998. The Museo Miguel Hernández - Josefina Manresa presents the life and work of the poet Miguel Hernández and his wife Josefina Manresa in six exhibition rooms. The Museo Rafael Zabaleta displays numerous oil paintings, watercolours and drawings, as well as other modern art collections. Quesada’s old quarter is characterised by white streets and traditionally designed houses with flower pots, flowers and garden beds; one entrance is the Bogen de la Manquita de Utrera, which is of Visigothic origin.
