Culture

The building now known as Casa de la Tercia was formerly the Pósito of Cazalilla.

Casa de la Tercia is believed to have been built in the second half of the 16th century.

The Museo de Pedro Monje is located in the upper part of Casa de la Tercia; this area is also used for various cultural events.

Next to the parish church of Cazalilla, the Torre de Calígula, a semicircular tower of the former castle, has been preserved.

The Torre de Calígula was classified as a Bien de Interés Cultural in 1985.

The tower of Iglesia de Santa María Magdalena stands on a stone base, has a square floor plan and semicircular-arched bell openings, and is topped by a pyramid-shaped spire.

The pyramid-shaped spire of Iglesia de Santa María Magdalena is believed to have been built at the end of the 17th century.
