Pinos Genil – “Agua que Fluye”, Tram History and Holiday Apartments

In Pinos Genil, the homologated circular trail SL-A 393 “Agua que Fluye” can be started both in the Los Pinillos area and directly in the town centre. City bus route 33 connects the town with Los Pinillos, from where the local trail can also be started.

The Fábrica de la Luz was the first hydroelectric power station in the province of Granada and supplied Granada and the surrounding areas from 1898 until its closure in 1978. In El Blanqueo, Berta Wilhelmi introduced mobile beekeeping, thereby modernising honey production throughout the province of Granada.
