Nature
The Municipality of Tržič takes care of maintaining the thematic Rožnovenska pot trail. An educational trail with scenic views through the Dovžanova soteska gorge provides interesting information about its rocks and fossils on information boards.
The Dovžanova soteska gorge is protected as a natural monument and contains a unique fossil site from the younger Palaeozoic. The Stegovniški Waterfall is approximately 15 metres high and can also be reached by mountain bike.

The Ljubelj Concentration Camp Museum has a permanent exhibition in a former military barracks. The Dr Tone Pretnar Memorial Room is dedicated to the work of the translator whose demanding translations introduced numerous foreign authors to Slovenian readers.
The Tekec Nativity Scene is an example of Slovenian folk and religious culture. Kurnik House combines rural and small-town architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries and the first half of the 20th century. A visit to Neuhaus Castle includes a herb garden and a tea party.
