Stebnícka Huta is located in the Low Beskids, in the valley of the small Rosucká voda stream and on the state border with Poland. The surrounding area is dominated by extensive beech and fir forests. Culture and history

The history of Stebnícka Huta includes a traveling glassworks that was renovated in 1641 and operated until 1856. The former glassworks produced crystal glass. Historically, the village also had water-powered facilities, including a mill, a sawmill, a fulling mill, a flax and hemp pounding mill, and an oil press.

A Roman Catholic church was built in Stebnícka Huta in 1853. The Church of the Holy Name of Mary is listed there as a filial church. Further historical points of reference are located at and near the municipal office: A commemorative plaque on the municipal office building commemorates the end of the Second World War, while the Voľarsky kameň monument stands next to it. A wayside cross dating from 1862 also stands next to house no. 72.
