Slovenský Grob: Goose Tradition, Churches and Cycle Paths

Getting Around

For cyclists, the connection between Slovenský Grob and Viničné, measuring more than 2.1 kilometres, is a clearly defined route section between the two municipalities. Bicycle racks were installed along this route next to a bus stop. In 2021, a new cycle route measuring 322 metres was also added. It extended the existing cycle paths from the Zátišie district and currently improves access to the sports grounds and the pump track.

A second connection within the village was built in 2017. The cycle path created at that time is 1,000 metres long and connects the Malý raj and Zátišie districts with the original centre of Slovenský Grob. The cycle paths are therefore characterised by different construction years, their own lengths and clearly defined local connections: one route leads to Viničné, while the other links several districts with the original centre.
