Dubová lies on the edge of the Trnava Hills, and the Dubovský potok stream flows through the village. The border of the Pezinok Carpathians and their Homoľské Karpaty section runs along the western edge of Dubová. On the slope of the Little Carpathians above Dubová, at Vítkov vŕšok, there is a Marian grotto with benches and plaques expressing thanks.

Nature and Trails

A three-hour hiking route leads from Zochova chata via Medvedia skala, Tri kopce and Mount Kukla to Dubová. Above Dubová, on Kukla at an altitude of 564 metres, there is a twelve-metre-high wooden observation tower offering expansive views of the Little Carpathians. In the immediate vicinity of the observation tower, there is a developed fire pit with benches for barbecuing.
