Holiday apartment in Magnezitovce: Tunnel, viaduct and church
Magnezitovce is home to an Evangelical church, preserved railway structures, as well as mountains in the immediate vicinity and in the surrounding area. The Evangelical church is particularly prominent: it was rebuilt in 1933, preserves the pulpit and altar from the former church, and is distinguished by its unusual modernist architecture. At the same time, it is one of the municipality’s most important tourist attractions.
Culture
The church represents a local architectural history in which a new building carries forward older elements. The pulpit and altar from the former church have been preserved in the building newly constructed in 1933. The unusual modernist architecture gives the Evangelical church a distinctive architectural form.
History and experience
A second historical trace leads to the Koprášsky Tunnel, also called the Mníšanský Tunnel. It was built from 1941 to 1944 as part of an unfinished railway connection through Gemer. The Koprášsky (Mníšanský) Tunnel is 245 metres long and S-shaped; passing through it takes around 45 minutes. It enables a 2.4-kilometre crossing from Magnezitovce to Slavošovce and is freely accessible to tourists.
The Koprášsky (Mníšanský) Viaduct also belongs to the same railway history. It is the last surviving of twelve bridge structures built during the construction of the railway. The arched viaduct is 120 metres long and 36 metres high. It is accessible from Magnezitovce and is suitable for walks or cycling tours.

The specific information provided by each accommodation remains decisive for the selection. When comparing holiday apartments, the respective listing page can be used to check, for example, the exact location, the type of accommodation and the possible occupancy. Included services, price components, as well as the booking and cancellation conditions are also relevant. Such fields can be compared directly before a decision is made. It is also worth checking whether the occupancy matches the intended number of people and which costs are already included in the price. The cancellation rules should also be presented clearly. This keeps the listings comparable based on the same criteria, without inferring individual features from general information about the location. The respective listing page is the authoritative place where these details can be checked before booking. For listings in Magnezitovce, it should also be checked whether the occupancy and type of accommodation clearly correspond to each other and whether price components and included services are listed separately. For a reliable comparison, the booking and cancellation conditions should also be read in full; the specific information on each individual listing page remains decisive.
